What Is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu (Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper complex) is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide found in human plasma, saliva, and urine. Plasma concentrations of free GHK decline significantly with age, a finding that has driven substantial research interest in its role in tissue maintenance and regeneration. The tripeptide binds copper(II) with high affinity via coordinated interactions at the imidazole nitrogen of histidine and the N-terminal amines of glycine and lysine.

Preclinical research has studied GHK-Cu across wound healing models, collagen I and III synthesis, elastin production, matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) regulation, angiogenesis, anti-inflammatory pathways (NF-κB inhibition), and antioxidant superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity. Its copper-transport function is also studied in relation to copper-dependent enzyme activity. GHK-Cu is frequently used in comparative tissue repair research alongside BPC-157.

For tissue repair research via VEGF/eNOS pathways, see BPC-157 and TB-500. For research use only.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I buy GHK-Cu in Australia? +

Eternal Peptides Wholesale is an Australian-owned, online distributor supplying GHK-Cu for research purposes. CU50 (50mg, box of 10) is $445.50 and CU10 (100mg, box of 10) is $693.00. Janoshik-verified, see Shipping Policy for dispatch estimates. For research use only.

What is GHK-Cu used for in research? +

GHK-Cu is studied in wound healing models, collagen and elastin synthesis, MMP regulation, angiogenesis, NF-κB-mediated anti-inflammatory pathways, and antioxidant SOD activity. It is among the most-studied copper peptides in skin and tissue regeneration research. For research use only.

What is the difference between CU50 and CU10? +

CU50 is 50mg per vial (box of 10, $445.50). CU10 is 100mg per vial (box of 10, $693.00) — note the SKU code CU10 refers to the product code, not 10mg. Both are Janoshik-verified with COAs on each product page. For research use only.

How is GHK-Cu quality verified? +

Review the published reports for the selected product and batch. Only the tests and results shown on those reports apply; do not assume additional methods or testing were performed.

How quickly is GHK-Cu dispatched? +

Research and buying guide

Testing and wholesale procurement: source notes

Product-specific documentation for this guide: CU50: product and report context · CU10: product and report context.

Assess purity separately from peptide quantity. Bachem explains that HPLC purity and net peptide content describe different properties. For an EPW procurement review, start with the published report directory, then match the product, strength and batch to the documents. [1] [2]

Our testing programme addresses purity, endotoxins, sterility testing (TAMC/TYMC microbial screening) and heavy metals. Janoshik describes the microbial, endotoxin and metals analyses as separate services; the actual report determines the tests and results applicable to a sample. A general programme description is not a claim that every item has all four reports. [3] [4] [5]

For wholesale value, compare the same specification and quantity, then check the total payable. The wholesale-price guide explains the method. Reports do not establish therapeutic approval or a legal exemption; the TGA explains that research-use wording alone does not remove applicable obligations. [6] [7]
